A receipt counts when it is successfully saved as a new receipt. Merely opening the upload screen or parsing a draft does not consume the allowance.

No. The saved receipt remains in the plan usage ledger even if the receipt itself is later deleted. This keeps monthly usage consistent and auditable.

No. Editing an already saved receipt does not consume another receipt slot. Only saving a brand-new receipt consumes one slot.
