1. Controller and data processed
The controller is the provider identified below. We process account name and email, protected password verification data, expenses, categories, receipt images and extracted content, plan and usage records. Payments involve order identifiers, amounts, status and service periods. IP addresses, requests and technical logs may be processed for security and troubleshooting. Our website form does not collect card numbers or online banking credentials; these are entered in the selected payment provider’s environment.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Account operation, receipt scanning, expense analysis, plans and necessary service messages are processed to perform the contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Payment and accounting records are processed for legal obligations (c). Security, fraud prevention and handling legitimate claims rely on legitimate interests (f), taking your rights into account. Optional marketing or non-essential tracking would require separate consent (a). Without required account or payment information we cannot provide the corresponding service.
3. Recipients and service providers
Data may be disclosed to hosting, email and payment providers as necessary for the service. Paysera receives order information needed for payment and processes payment data under its own policies. Receipt scanning sends the receipt image and content needed for processing to the OpenAI API; remove unnecessary personal data before uploading. Google Fonts, Cloudflare CDN (cdnjs) and jsDelivr supply fonts and libraries; their servers receive IP addresses and technical request information. Data is disclosed to authorities when required by law. Actual hosting and transfer details are listed below.

Receipt content is sent to OpenAI for automated data extraction. Where OpenAI or our other service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are subject to the appropriate GDPR safeguards specified in the relevant provider agreement.
4. Retention
Account and expense data is kept as needed for the account and requested service. Contact us to request deletion. Payment and accounting records are kept for periods required by applicable law; dispute records for as long as reasonably necessary to handle claims. Deletion from the active system does not mean immediate removal from backups. Specific hosting, log, backup and receipt processing retention periods are set out in the confirmed information below.
Receipts and expense records are displayed in the account for the most recent 3 months. Older records are archived. All such records are retained for 6 months from creation and then deleted. Before deletion, users may request a copy of archived records by emailing info@islaidukas.lt. The service provider’s accounting documents are retained separately for the applicable mandatory retention periods.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent-based processing can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights apply under GDPR conditions, so some mandatory records cannot be deleted. Send requests to the contact email. We normally respond within one month; we will notify you of any lawful extension. You may complain to VDAI or your local supervisory authority.
6. Security and decisions
Access controls, protected sign-in and other technical measures are used. Receipt recognition assists data entry; the user approves results before saving. It is not an automated decision about creditworthiness or other legal effects. Grounds for transfers outside the EEA and actual providers must match the confirmed details above. Material policy changes are communicated on the website.
